SEO / SEM Specialist

Total Advertising, Inc. is a branding and marketing agency dedicated to building strategies and delivering creative that amazes our clients and drive results for their businesses. We are looking for a successful and proven SEO Specialist that will be responsible for development and execution of SEO strategies for a wide range of clients. The SEO Specialist will work within our digital marketing team and closely with other departments. To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility of the job and accept special projects as assigned.

The ideal candidate for this position is an energetic team player professional who is able to multi-task effectively, offer quick and accurate responses, provide creative input to help advance client’s brands and ensure proper service.

Duties

Optimize content towards relevant keywords for enhanced SEO to gain higher traffic numbers.
Use of SEO tools to perform competitor research, detect technical issues, analyze link profile, and identify content opportunities
Monitoring and analysis of SEO data weekly and monthly reports to detect red flags, drive optimization strategy, and effectively manage organic performance
Researching and implementing content recommendations for organic SEO success
Research and analyze clients’ competitors advertising links
Develop and implement link building strategy
Work with the development and design team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on clients’ websites
Offer insight to websites to improve content, linking and other factors to overall improve SEO positions for target keywords
Must be able to work within and hit deadlines
Performs other duties as assigned

Skills / Qualifications

Proven 2+ years SEO experience
Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
Experience in developing and managing back linking strategies
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
Experience with website analytics tools - Google Analytics and other reporting programs BS/MS degree in related field
