New Business Developer

Total Advertising, Inc. is a branding and marketing agency dedicated to building strategies and delivering creative that amazes our clients and drive results for their businesses. We are looking for a driven individual who is self-disciplined and capable of adapting to clients' needs. The New Business Developer will be responsible for developing new business as well as solicit and service clients and collections. An active and entrepreneurial spirit will help the right individual make this a rewarding career and set the pace to earn 75k+ within their first year. The Business Developer will work closely with all departments. To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility of the job and accept special projects as assigned.

The ideal candidate for this position is a professional and energetic team player who is able to multi-task effectively. The right individual will offer quick and accurate responses, provide creative input to help advance clients’ brands, and ensure proper service. The New Business Developer is the ideal position for a person with an entrepreneurial spirit who is active, engaging, and hardworking. Includes base pay plus commission with bonus structure.


Manage client accounts
Research, identify, and generate new business opportunities through phone, web and visits
Establish client relationships and return clients’ requests within a timely manner
Foster relationships with current clients to increase retention
Maintain a high volume of activity through outbound calls, emails, and social engagements
Prepares, presents and delivers sales presentations
Work within the agency to define a clients’ plan, budget and execute marketing plans and tactics
Self-starter with ability to work under pressure while communicating and collaborating with all stakeholders
Ability to prioritize and effectively measure for results
Must be able to work within and hit deadlines
Performs other duties as assigned

Skills / Qualifications

Prefer 1-2+ years in inside / outside sale experience
Organization and detail management in a fast pace and high demand environment
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Mac office skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing
BS/MS degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.


The right individual in the New Business Developer position should be on pace to earn 75k+ within their first year. This is a commission-based position with bonus incentives.
